Biography
His life ended suddenly September 28, 1972 as James was driving an ambulance transporting a patient. He was killed instantly when he passed one vehicle and crashed into the back of a truck making a left turn on a farm road.<br /> <br /> Members of the Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department, Colonial Beach, Richmond County, Callao, and Tappahannock Rescue Squads served as honorary pallbearers.<br /> <br /> James died at the age of 52 as he was working to help another.<br /> <br /> Honored 1994
