| Joe Luis Ramirez, of Chaparral, New Mexico, was killed in the line of duty on April 4, 2006. While responding to an emergency call on a Saturday morning, he hit a light pole and rolled over.<br /> <br /> Joe's father, Jose Ramirez, recalled his son as a very caring man.
