| Tom was a registered nurse in the Emergency Medical Department of Wyoming Medical Center. He was working as a flight nurse for Life Flight, a vital part of the Medical Center, on April 6, 1993 when he died. Life Flight's fixed-wing aircraft was returning to the Wyoming Medical Center with a patient when it disappeared from radar just ten minutes before landing in Casper. Visibility was reduced by snow which also hampered search and rescue crews from three counties.<br /> <br /> Tom was an exceptionally talented emergency medical services professional which was evident by the care his patients received.
