| Glen Morthorpe died in the line-of-duty in a medical airplane accident alongside Flight Nurse Robert Cartner and Flight Paramedic Maddox Burts. They were enroute to pick up a patient. Glen was a family man who loved aviation and loved to teach others to fly. He was a longtime pilot with over 40,000 flight hours. He active as a Civil Air Patrol volunteer and is remembered for his patience, knowledge, and dedication to detail. |
