Biography
"He was the most generous, giving, loving person and would do anything for anyone."<br /> <br /> Chief Warrant Officer 4 Stephen John Tulley was killed in the line of duty on January 31, 1996. The transport plane he was flying slammed into the northern slope of San Francisco Peaks in Arizona. The lives of a flight nurse and respiratory therapist were also lost.<br /> <br /> Tulley had radioed the airport shortly after take-off, stating that he was returning because of a problem with the plane's landing gear, it was also snowing at the time. The plane was headed for Phoenix to pick up a patient to bring to Tucson, Arizona.<br /> <br /> Stephen Tulley, 60, is survived by his wife, Susan Grant Tulley, son, Eric, mother, Florence M. Cary, 2 brothers, Harold and Donald Tulley, and one sister, Helen M. Koller.<br /> <br /> Honored 2000
