Biography
Tiffany had a life-long goal of becoming a flight nurse. She did everything right to fulfill that goal. "Tiffany was a sweet person and very religious," stated close friend, Jennifer White. "Tiffany always wanted to be a nurse, and she had become a really good one," she stated. Her colleagues all agreed and remember her as kind and gentle. "She was a pleasant person to be in the company of any time," stated a co-worker. "She was one of a kind, the type that should be a flight nurse," another co-worker said.<br /> <br /> Tiffany Crowson Miles, 29, of Florence, Alabama, died in the line of duty on December 30, 2007. She was one of a three-person crew dispatched on a search and rescue mission to help locate a lost hunter. The team had located the man, and was hovering over the location when the accident occurred in the Freedom Hills Wildlife Management area.<br /> <br /> Tiffany was a flight nurse, employed with Air Evac Lifeteam out of West Plains, Missouri. Mrs. Miles attended the University of North Alabama with a degree in nursing. While in college she served as a dispatcher with AMR, moving on to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician. After becoming a registered nurse, she worked in the emergency room of Helen Keller Hospital. Tiffany fulfilled her dream of becoming a flight nurse, a job she enjoyed for the three years prior to her death.<br /> <br /> Mrs. Miles' beloved husband spoke of how she loved to read, loved scrapbooking, and taking pictures. She loved her boys; loved dancing and she loved her family. He stated one day we will "dance together again".<br /> <br /> Honored 2008
