Biography
Allan will forever be remembered for the good that he did for his children and for his community. He will also be remembered for the lives that he saved and the difference he made within the confines of those ambulance doors.<br /> <br /> Allan Parsons, 46, of Mexico, Maine, was killed in the line of duty on July 5, 2007. He was treating a patient in the back of a Med-Care ambulance when a drunk driver lost control of his pickup truck, flipped and slipped into the rescue vehicle. Mr. Parsons and his partner were on an emergency transport of a patient when the accident occurred. The patient survived.<br /> <br /> Mr. Parsons was a paramedic for the Med-Care Ambulance in Mexico, Maine. He served the agency as a Lieutenant.<br /> <br /> It was easy to see that this man was a very dedicated, funny, caring, and passionate man. He was a man who loved his work as a paramedic."<br /> <br /> Honored 2008
