| Donna Lee Miller, 39, of Pinellas, Florida, died in the line of duty on December 29, 2004. She was struck by an ambulance that was parked in a launch bay when the driver put the vehicle in reverse to exit. The ambulance's back-up alarm system alarmed, alerting Donna, along with others. However, she wound up in the path of the ambulance and was hit.<br /> <br /> Miller was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, and she later died from her injuries.<br /> <br /> Honored 2009 |
