Harry loved what he did, he never complained, and always wore a smile stating "that everything he did was an honor." And Harry Moore gave much in his 77 years. He was a United States Army veteran and he lived for Emergency Medical Services. After his wife died, he and his daughter took an EMT class, and became first responders. Harry said it was a way of giving back to the community that had helped his family in their time of need. He became totally enthralled with rescue and devoted the rest of his life to the service of EMS. He loved his family and most of all loved being a grandpa and great-grand dad. This country, the state of Pennsylvania and the county of Duquesne have lost a great hero.

Harry R. Moore, 77, of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, died in the line of duty on November 11, 2009.
