Biography
Clint was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. He lived around the world, being part of a military family. He graduated from Fort Campbell High School in Kentucky as a National Merit Scholar. Then he graduated from University of Louisville, Kentucky with a B. S. in biology. His Associates Degree in nursing was received from Truckee Meadows and was followed with a B. S. degree in nursing from Graceland University.<br /> <br /> Clinton Bryant Reger, 39, of Reno, Nevada, was killed in the line of duty on November 14, 2009. He was the chief flight nurse of a Mountain Lifeflight medevac helicopter, part of a three-person medical team. The team was working a patient transport to the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada and was returning to its home base in Susanville, California. Pilot Bradshaw sent a mayday seconds before the helicopter crash in the dark hilly terrain 5 miles north of Reno, Nevada in a section called Hallelujah Junction. There were no survivors.<br /> <br /> Clinton dedicated his life to serving and caring for others, especially in emergency situations. His medical career included EMT for Lassen Ambulance, ICU nurse at Barton Hospital in Lake Tahoe, Nevada; emergency room nurse at Banner Lassen Hospital, ICU nurse at Enloe Hospital in Chico, California, and 10 years serving Mountain Lifeflight.<br /> <br /> Honored 2010
